Bio

History
I was Born in 1990 in Quelimane city of Zambezia province, professional dancer, upcoming choreographer and trainer. Took up dancing in 2001 practicing Mozambican traditional dances in diverse groups of local traditional dances and graduated in the course of music (2009).

Challenges
Having been born and grown in a remote setting, taking and living by the spirit of dance wasn’t an easy take as everyone was in other areas of interest like technology and mass media. Above all, professional dance was a dream to think about in the village.
For search of higher inspirations on this dance, moving to the Capital Maputo was inevitable.
2010 was a stepping stone year to develop my skills in career as a dancer, I moved to Maputo city where I started off as a freelance dancer hopping in the city to find performing groups, commercials etc as part of developing my artistic repertoire.

Works

I participated in the special Dance Programs Sponsored by the Norwich Embassy in Mozambique, having had as learnt, Ballet, Jazz, , Swing, Afro, Pilates, Yoga, Contemporary dance, Modern, Hip Hop, Choreography, History of dance and Anatomy (2011). As well as, participated in workshop with companies such as Jazz art dance theater (South Africa), Ikapa dance theater (South Africa), Cie 7273 (Switzerland), Shakespeare Link in Canada (Canada).
